Request for =loqutor He wanted Irene from Claymore I must say, this is my first time drawing a character from something I’ve never read or see art from. I googled a thousand refs and read up a bit about her. She’s a very interesting character!!! She seemed very stern, so I explored a slight smile, which only her Quick Blade can summon. her outfit nearly killed me because she was wearing a lot of different clothing in the refs… so I just made up something to accommodate the pose. Foreshortening… OHGAWD, IT HURTS. don’t look too closely. please. I was going to color the cloak on PS… but when I tried, it was so ugly that I ripped the drawing out of ye olde scanner and immediately started it on Light Umber therapy. It looks much better… but now my marker is on its deathbed. Irene belongs to… Norihiro Yagi, if Wikipedia is to be believed =_= |
